Drago's

Drago's is fabulous. It's a highlight of my trips to New Orleans. Either downtown or in Fat City. The one thing you have to make sure you get at Drago's is the charbroiled oysters.

It's what they are known for and I continue having orders until I'm full when I go. I generally get three dozen.

One of the best parts about Drago's is you can get the charbroiled oysters for breakfast in Fat City. (Fat City is in Metarie, which is a suburb of New Orleans.) I tend to organize my trips to New Orleans around the meals I have.

An opportunity to have a meal with a signature New Orleans dish I can't get enough of before lunch, is a prospect I refuse to turn down. It might seem a little odd to have charbroiled oysters for breakfast, but that's ok. You can get yourself a side of eggs if you feel weird.

If you are gonna have oysters in New Orleans, then have them at Drago's. I feel confident going on record and saying they are the best in the city. I'd be willing to bet a lot of people would agree with me.

Drago's is a top reccoh for sure. Make sure to visit the next time you're in New Orleans!
